Feels like it should cost twice what it did. Take the rubble sleeve out, and it will fit tohatso 9.9/15/20 like it was made for it.

Ironwood's description says this extension fits all models under 15 HP. Not so!!! I have a Johnson 9.9 (J10RCCD).

Response from Ironwood Pacific: The HelmsMate will fit the Johnson 9.9. Simply pull open plastic tiller clamp and slide it on. The clamp is molded from super tough nylon and will not break, and is flexible enough to pull open, slide on and tighten on the Johnson and similar motors.

Really handy on a Honda 2 hp. outboard.
