I now have 3 of these, and recommend them to friends. They last a long time; are safe; and do a good job. And, are reasonably priced. Only down side is that the legs get dried out with age and fall apart.

I purchased two of these to hopefully generate enough heat to keep two small rooms in the 40's this winter. One room is the head. It's probably not 12 sq ft. The other is a center guest berth, appx 36 sq ft. The units are plenty warm to the touch, but I can't tell if they produce enough heat to affect the room temperature. Company Comments - The DryWave 100 is designed for up to 100 cubic feet. It is used frequently in safes. A room that is 36' square feet in size is very likely to well exceed 100 cubic feet unless the room height is only 3 feet tall. The DryWave 1000 might have been a better choice for this room.
