This is just what we needed for the snaps on our pontoon. My husband doesn’t have much trouble but I do. It isn’t hard to unsnap (but can be extremely hot to the touch!) my problem is snapping the cover back on. This tool makes it so much easier. We suggest putting a piece of leather or something on it to keep the tool from scratching the surface. Put it on the bend so when it rest against the surface it is protected.
i love it, it does exactly as advertised and works great.
Does great for unsnapping. I haven't gotten the hang of snapping yet. I have arthritis in my thumbs and thus will help, just need more practice. I've had strong thumbed people with me and they've been doing most of the snapping .
Perfect tool for the job. Over the years, I had torn canvas as well as torn fingernails, but no more. The tool has a high quality built, is comfortable and easy to use.
I have a sailboat with lots of canvas. This is a great tool to have on-board to remove and install this canvas with so many snaps.
For years I struggled getting the camper package side panels for my boat snapped in place. A dock mate lent me his top snapper and I was sold the first time I used it. You can snap on your cover from both inside and outside the cabin. Wish I'd known about this 10 years ago.
